I might add that I throw out the high and the low review on RVParkReviews and figure a rough average on what's left. I figure the high review is the owner and the low is the closest competitor.
We never stay at a place that has lower than 7.5 unless we know (personally) someone who's stayed there and they recommend it anyway.
When planning a trip I use google maps to figure out where we'll be going and RV park reviews to find a place in that area. If I strike out, or if I just pull into a place that's full, I go to RVParky to find someplace close by. If this happens, I don't bother with the review and will pick a KOA or some other known quantity (Good Sam, Sun Resorts etc.)
