Google maps, then rvparky. Once I get to the the level of looking at the campground's website, I'm looking for pet restrictions (I own a pit bull), and pictures of the sites.
A note; if there are dog breed restrictions, let me know up front and I'll move on. It is incredibly annoying to pull in at the end of a long day to a place that loudly advertises "dog friendly!" only to find out that my dog is not allowed. Seriously, put that fact in the website. It saves a whole lot of time and aggravation.
