We start with who accepts Passport America, then go to Google maps and search the area. We have camped on the Texas Coast several times, just not east of Galveston.
My Personal list of red flags or red light are:
* Places that are filled with full time campers.
* Places that post reviews or rates that are really old. If your
campers are staying there you should have online reviews, we all
know it's impossible to please everyone. but you last review
should not be 2 years ago.
