30 and 50 amp refers to amperage service at a parks plug-in pedestal.
Not all parks have plug-ins so that would be where a generator comes into play.
A generator in the small range will give you around 20 amps.
That's good enough for battery charging and light 110 volt loads:
Lighting
Microwave (maybe)
Television
...etc
