The bigger the rig, the less places you will have to camp in. General rule of thumb. If you are going to stay in resorts, then probably not such a problem. If going to state or fed parks, then you will be limited. I've heard to stay under the 29' range.
One of the main issues is going somehwere you don't know anything about. Some places might have turns you won't be able to make easily. Low over hanging branches. Some sites may say 35' long. But you can get a 40' one in there by backing it up till the rear wheels are at the end and let the back over hang. That is as long as there are no obstructions in the rear. Another feat you may have is being able to squeeze your rig in, but not having room for the truck. Some places will not let you park on the grass or off the driveway.
