I can honestly say nothing is better entertainment sometimes than watching someone with a rolling house try to get into a "real" campground with hills and trees and rocks, all the things that would normally be found in a forest or wilderness type area, I have been in places where even a 30 foot can be a real challenge, to those who think they can get anywhere with anything,,, sorry guys you obviously have not been in some of the parks around here, not saying they are all like that or all the sites are small, but typically we don't clear cut a forest to fit monster RV's, a lot of our newer parks or improved parks will have a "couple or more" sites capable of larger units with turning radius's in mind, but a large number or percentage are natural areas with a park fit into them.
so if you like RV Parks or resorts where your packed in to a parking lot style environment then get the biggest you can find. if you like back woods areas with wildlife and trees more rustic setting you may want to research the size first.
nothing funnier than someone with a huge RV complaining about not being able to fit into a campsite in a park like our provincial parks,,, like its a forest not a parking lot, the reservation site said what size unit can fit on the site, what were you thinking trying to get a 40 foot motor home on a site rated for an 18 foot trailer,,, yes I have seen it more than once.
LOL
"How dare that squirrel bury that acorn there 96 years ago and cause a tree to grow right in the way of me getting into this campsite, couldn't he have buried that 5 feet over to the left, and just imagine why would the last glacier leave that huge 50 ton boulder on the other side of the site entrance 20,000 years ago". "after all they should have realized that I would be camping here in 2013 and need to get my RV onto this site"
you have to admit it is quite humorous when viewed from the right angle.
