How long will my batterys last when I am not using generator

Newbie here. I know this might be a stupid question, but. How long can I use the house battery for electricity without them dying? I don't really want to test that out and have my batteries dead....

In my case, if the house batteries drop much below 12 v I do not have enough power to start my 12.5 KW generator. Now mind you this diesel generator takes a lot of power to start. I still have plenty of power to run the fridge and a few lights, etc. To start the generator I have to start the engine. Once the generator is started, I can recharge the house batteries.
