You'll have to check it out for yourselves because different people use vastly different amounts of electricity. We have a small motorhome with no TV and the microwave is a breadbox, so no use for an inverter. LED lights halved our summer power usage. We don't seem to need a generator, either. We take a little drive every two or three days and the batteries recharge. No generator means no noise or exhaust smell and happy neighbours even in tents. We often camp at temps below freezing, always with a window or vent open because we like it cool at night, using the furnace only in the morning and evening. Of course, we use blankets and cuddle.
It may well come down to a lifestyle choice. Camp as if you were home and run the generator to keep all the conveniences running. Or give up TV and enjoy the quiet outdoors when camping.
