Interesting initial question and rather difficult to answer w/o comparing books. I'm sure the county's campground has a budget that is available for public viewing; doubt if the same is true of the private one.
A full utility setup at a government run campground averages $35.00 for residents, $45.00 for non residents in CT.
Same criteria in NYS is about the same price.
I haven't stayed at any private campgrounds since the late '70's and that was tent camping. Can't recall the pricing now and that campground doesn't even exist anymore.
