Add in the location location location factor and you will find there is no average.
While rates have increased quite a bit in the last 2 years, camping is still economical in my mind. While it all ads up, the cost of the RV , maintenance and fuel are bigger factors that the site in my mind.
If you pick sites strictly on price you can find inexpensive sites however they may not be where you want to camp.
$30 sites are generally the cheapest in my area and the go up to over $100.00 for resort areas.
