Virginia State Parks are $30/night and most with water/electric only. They have been voted one of the best state parks for the past 5-6 years.
Our locality has a park with electric only, but water available throughout the park to fill tanks and with a dump station and it is only $15/night.
We have found that many locality owned parks are cheaper and usually nicer than lots of the commercial campgrounds as well as the state parks.
