Thanks for the reply/challenge on the California State Parks pricing. 3 years ago we traveled cross country and came into California from Oregon. The cost of camping in California was shocking. We wanted to stay at Carpenteria - $55 with hookups. Went to El Capitan for $35 no hookups. There are other rates on this thread that seem wrong. For example Texas State CGs seem inexpensive but then there is an entrance fee tacked on the daily rate. Georgia does the same thing.
