My question actually is how often do you weigh your rig? Once? Once per season? Each trip?
Once, sometime after we get a new trailer,
if I get the chance. ;) For those that don't it's pretty easy to ballpark any trailer's GVW loaded & ready to camp by simply noting the unit's sticker weight as delivered to the dealer, adding the weight of a battery or batteries, propane, any water in the tanks, plus an estimate of the weight of all additional cargo added. I can see some perhaps wanting to weigh each season, just to check, but "each trip"? - hardly. :R FAR more important is to check your trailer's average gross tongue weight to assure it's sufficient AND to understand clearly how much tow vehicle payload capacity you have to work with so you're not exceeding that.
