How to decide pre owned RV for full time 50’s amateurs??

When we were looking, the class A just was what we liked best. Look at each type, you may just be attracted to one of them more than the others. Next was a floor plan we liked and usability of everything with the slides in. Some units make the bathroom, refrigerator, etc unusable unless you put the slides out. When traveling, you won't want to do that every time you want a restroom.
