how to hook up dual batteries in motorhome
I have one 12 volt coach battery and have heard that it would be better to have two, how do I hook them up?

That is method #3 and is equal to method #2 with twin batteries. For even numbers of jars four or greater method #3 or #4 will be optimal. For odd numbers of batteries only method #3 will be balanced.
