Yes, your right. Our 06 Winnie, does NOT HAVE an automatic transfer switch, after disconnecting from shore power, you must plug the shore power cord into the generator receptacle, which is located in the electrical compartment.
Sounds like some breakers are tripped OR as said before the GFI has been tripped.
