How we empty our RV waste tanks at a dump station

I use the bucket because I like to pour a lot of water down there fast to break anything up at the bottom of the tank. I also use hot water to do this when I'm at home. I fill the bucket in the tub so I don't need to drag it around outside and I store the bucket in the tub.

I agree it's not necessary, but it works for me and I think it works better.
