Also wondering why you didn't rinse the stinky slinky after dumping. That gray tank can get pretty ripe. After a while that Tupperware bin will start to attract flies.
I don't think rubber gloves is going too far. As for rinsing the hose I typically don't just to get out of there quicker, but I do soak everything in bleach every once in a while to knock any stink down.
