I 70 west of Denver .. vail. Pass..
Hi.. Has any one traveled the east bound lane. Recently ? Someone told me the road is in poor condition . .. Deep pot holes... Jim2007.. we are planning the use this road in about a month.

Lots of freeze/thaw cycles tear up the mountain roads. Keep an eye out for pot holes. You can miss nearly all of them if you do not go too fast. The interstate is the easiest way across CO.
