We stayed at a site in Wnd Creek SP in Alabama last year and the site was level side to side but I had to put six inches of blocks under my landing gear to unhitch and when I lowered the front to level the gear was fully retracted and I was still one inch from level. Sure looked strange with the nose of the camper so close to the ground. Back end so was so far off the ground my rear stabilizers did not reach the ground and did not have enough blocking with me. Now I carry a lumber yard with me so this does not happen again.

You didn't catch the way the trees were tilted. If they were only tilted because of the camera angle, then they are tilted the wrong way. If camera angle was the problem then the site is actually more level than it would appear. At least from side to side.

HEY OP.........

You have a refrigerator problem.....stop operating it when off level.
Use some blocks/boards etc. to level your rig.

Off level operation causes a disruption in the flow of vapor to liquid for the cooling effect. The disruption causes the cooling medium to crystallize from overheating/improper flow. That causes clogging........damage is accumulative.

Someone had a pic here years ago that showed the site they were in was so off level the tongue was on the ground the rear was up in the air and it was still not level! it was unbelievable that the site was paved the way it was! I have personally never been in a site I couldn`t get level on. the worst was the Jellystone in Caledonia WI. I had the front storage compartment chest high and the door side needed about 6 inches of boards. looked bad when going by, but it was level. I went upfront the next day, grabbed the manager and showed him. he apologized and gave me a few free items, ice and some other goodies, and said it would be fixed. the next year when we went we didn't get the same site, but we walked by and they definitely leveled it out. although to hookup, the TV was now at a substantial angle. wasn`t much they could do because of how the land was!

I had this issue once when I parked the trailer at home, disconnected it, but never levelled it and forgot to turn off the fridge. Luckily, it started working again when I turned it back on and drove around for 1/2 hour.

not only should they all make their sites leval with just enough slope to drain off the rain, but they should also carpet the awning area, and bring the site to me so I don't have to go through the dreadfull work of driving there , never mind the leveling.
dam the worst I have been on only took me 20 minutes to leval up on and my hitch (on my TT) ended up 42 inches in the air and the back bumper was almost on the ground.
the side to side worst was 7 inches of boards under one side, no big deal, less than 20 minutes set up and level
and the park did not have to alter all the terrain throughout the park
most place I go are one maybe 2 planks, but the odd site needs a little more.

Isn't Georgia mostly level as a pool table? Not hard to make a level site when it's level to start with.
