My daughter and I tent camped until the torrential rain that drowned us out. So I decided to buy a 26' TT. Yes there were glitches but we made it through.
We had a 5er after that to include DH and SS. The kids are grown now and we have settled into a TC. Still there have been a few more glitches here and there but RVing is still the thing I look forward to.
Don't be discouraged, things happen. You have to learn to go with the flow. It's a learning experience at first but it well worth it.
Ask questions here and on the other specialty forums. Don't make snap judgments. Most of the folks are here to help and share their experiences good and bad, so that we can all learn.
BTW, how did you decide that you what to RV full time? Have you ever camped at all? Better start small with a rental for a couple of weeks.
