Jayla, we too got rained out tenting when younger and slept on a pine cone and couldn't walk for ten minutes when we got up. And loved it enough to buy a little 15' Sunline in perfect condition for $1500.
Oh my goodness, having our own bathroom was heaven on earth. Since that little camper we have gotten bigger and bigger RV's until now a pretty big 5er that might be our last one. Or not.
We have hauled our little girls and their friends all over creation, and now have watched them become parents. We have fixed, and cooked, and driven, and loved, and just had a fantastic time when ever we can get out on the road.
I would suggest that you start out used and part time, and just see how it feels to you. You'll know pretty quick if it's for you.
There is nothing like waking up at dawn in a modern day hobo camp and enjoying a cup of coffee while the world wakes up.
