We have done crafts in the past and still do when health permits. As for doing it from show to show, I would think you will need a home base to make the things. I also assume you have some ready cash to go on til the income starts, which might be your home. Then what type of shows are you talking about getting into. Our experience is that you can hook up with a promoter and pay several hundred dollars for a booth or you can pay less do the small time, small town type shows which can yield as much income as the larger shows and theres less chance of running into a vendor with a item and we have also found that because we do smaller shows, we get a return on our booth the first couple items we sell. Since you have already done some shows it sounds like ,then you know that sales can be hit and miss from one show to another. I wanted to do just what you are planning but health put the kabash to any plans we had for our retirement to do those things. I personally like metal works such as yours but we do wood crafts and have built a big following over the years. Good luck with your plans.
