Info on roof vents

I can't remember which, but one has a screen removable with 2 screws. The vents on my TT were really dirty and I had to remove the covers completely to clean them. With the removable screen that would not be necessary.

just replaced two of the original fan covers that I rehabbed to get by.

MaxxAir II's. Hoping to get more air circulation with the additional side venting. Got em from Camping World "internet". UPS directly to house.

Liked the way these open with clips so they can be cleaned. Each hood contains removable screens tooooo.

Between Camco and Maxxair, I don't see much bad about either one to be honest. Personally, I love Camco products.

As for air flow in general, it doesn't HAVE to be on the roof.

I use my TT in rain and snow. A lot. In those conditions, opening a roof vent isn't ideal.

The bathrooms of most TTs have small windows. If that window happens to be under the awning, open that one instead and use a small battery operated fan.

Any protected window would work for that matter. Most TTs aren't air tight. One open window usually takes care of condensation issues. A fan in front of it works for air circulation

If you have the typical junk fan I would replace the whole thing at the same time.
Maxx air and Fantastic Fan are two of the most popular brands.

I have the Camco ones. Same thing and generally cheaper. Amazon has them for about 18 bucks each and free shipping. Easy install.

The Maxxair Fan/Mate model vent cover is specially designed for the hi volume vent fans. The Maxxair 2 will however work but you will get the most air moved with the maxxair fan/mate design.

To help keep rain from splashing in you can do a couple of things.
When installing the vent over, keep it toward the rear as much as possible. Make sure it allows full movement of cover.
When you purchase the vent cover make sure it has not only louvers, but the screening material.
