On finding campground it's about as easy as finding hotels. There are websites such as Good Sam, there are books you can buy, there are even apps for Smartphones and iPads that can find the campgrounds for you. Then it's a matter of calling them for reservations. Going to big tourist areas during tourist season can make it difficult to find last minutes spaces, but other than that finding spaces isn't all that hard.
