If you can sell yours first, do that instead of trading in. Trade-in value will most certainly be lower than what you would make selling it yourself. The caveat is the demand where you live. If you live in a rural area with small population and not a lot of campgrounds, you may find trying to sell is hard. If the RV is in good shape and has been well taken care of, it might sell better on eBay since there is a bigger market.
If you don't want the hassle and frustration that can come with selling it yourself, then getting less for it by trading it in might be worth it.
