Is this eBay seller for real?

Cheyenne camper sales sell many units online. They go through literally thousands of them per year. Service after the sale leaves a bit to be desired though. But if you are for a distance away that won't matter anyway. I'm about 45 miles away and have shopped there many times but never bought.

I had a friend buy a TT advertised this way. Some dealers will order 10 or 12 of the same model trailer and sell them this way. His pricing was very good and had the brand name blurred just like this add. They drove out and picked up the trailer at a large high volume RV Dealer and have had great luck with the trailer. This was about 4 years ago. The dealer explained it was a way for them to sell a lot of trailers with a smaller profit instead of a few trailers with a larger profit. Basically they make more money because they sell so many of them. They prob also get better pricing for a model from the manufacturer. I think he said they had ordered and sold like 40 of the same model in a 2 month timeframe. The dealer even had a campground for them to stay at for a couple days for free to do a comprehensive PDI and get any warranty issues fixed on the spot. Our friends were extremely happy. Sorry I don't remember the name of the dealer/ebay seller though.

There are people listing cars, boats, RV's on eBay at ridiculously low prices. You cannot see the item as they have it in a warehouse and will ship it to you, but only after you send them a deposit for thousands of dollars. They take your money and that is the end of it and eBay allows this fraud to continue, though they are not the only ones doing so.

I will say we looked at gray wolf here are my though.

1. No window in door felt odd.

Watch the fit and finish some where ok, others looks like a 2 year old had a nail gun.. The one we wanted had a outside kitchen but the draws hit the gasket and couldn't be opened. We passed after the 3rd strike.

It's not unusual for them to block out the name.
I would never buy without going to see it myself.
I would then get the serial number of the unit that I inspected.

I would consider paying more at a dealer near me in case I need warranty work. I wouldn't want to imagine taking it to a local place after buying it elsewhere. I have veered away from that advice before but it was with one motor vehicle. While working in the small engine repair field I witnessed many times that the owner would eat problems for regular customers.

If buying from a local dealer I would jokingly yet seriously say something like "well I can buy it cheaper elsewhere but I'm buying it from you because I want to support my local guy and I know you will take care of me" Right?

Not saying you can never be burned on EB, but I've bought and sold a fair amount of stuff there with zero problems. One bad deal as a seller on EB can cause that 100% rating to drop, and that's something I cherish as a seller. That being said, notice the ad says "New Condition." That's not the same as "new" in my opinion. Perhaps it's a unit the dealer sold and it was titled, and something happened to the deal. Generally, a previously titled vehicle can't be sold as "new." Call 'em and ask questions. It may well be a good deal.

I personally would feel comfortable with this sale but only after visiting in person. If you're saving several thousand dollars, it'd be worth a $500 airplane ticket, no?

I googled it and found the same on RVW for about $500 less. I was amazed that it is supposed to sleep 9 people at 29 feet. I am guessing that gets a bit crowded.
