I replaced our kitchen (and bath) sink with residential faucet.
I really hate laying on my back scrunched up, dropping tools on my head, getting debris in my eyes and trying to fold my arms/hands just the right way.
So I always just disconnect hot/cold hoses, drain pipe and pull the sink with faucet still attached completely out.
Turn it upside down......remove faucet.....clean off old caulking/butyl tape...install new faucet.......lay down some new butyl tape......install sink....connect lines.
So much easier and most times quicker.
