Keep in mind a 3400 is going to use a LOT more fuel and is mucho heavier.
2000/2200/2500 are light and will run 12+ hours on a light load. 3400 will suck more gas. If you occasionally need more power, then you can start the 2nd smaller generator.
Duel fuel, propane is awesome... however, how much are you planning to carry? Propane doesn't go very far in a generator.
My wife can pick up, start, and fuel up our 2500... and she's a petite woman
