Interesting that is the same torque as the wheels our Ram 3500 DRW. I have on board air and carry an impact wrench.

Thanks. I bought some thin wall, deep 6-point sockets. The set will cover my trailer, my tow vehicle, and all the bolts on my equalizer WDH. I already have a 2' breaker bar, but also have an 18v impact wrench to help.

I bought a thin wall, deep well socket to fit my lug nuts and a 2' breaker bar. They ride behind the rear seat in my truck. That is in addition to a cross-arm lug wrench and whatever Ford put there.

Change a tire in your driveway using only tools from the trailer and TV. Then you’ll know you are good to change a tire at night, in the rain, wind, cold etc. Consider a home built ramp.

The socket will fit either way but some suggestions
Get two. one "Thin wall" (you might want a deep for that) to remove the Simulator (Wheel cover) nuts

The other standard but also get an extension shaft so you can clear the blasted dual rim.

Try it . I had the correct size but the wall thickness of socket would not fit in the well .

I use a short impact socket, 6" impact extension, and my old Craftsman torque wrench from the 1970s.

Standard length sockets will fit most lug nuts. I carry (2) 4 way lug wrenches, one in standard and 1 in metric to give more leverage when removing lug nuts. I also carry a torque wrench and (2) 6" extensions for it with the correct size sockets for the truck and the trailer lug nuts on each extension in my truck tool box so I don't have to hunt for everything.

You will always have the right socket !
