Maiden voyage success - question about grey water tanks

It appears that you had W/E hookups but not sewer.
So you need to learn water conservation or either always camp with sewer hookups or get a blue tote tank.

We are primarily dry campers and are used to conserving water and using a tote tank for gray water.

Did you take Navy showers or let just the water run?
