While I agree with most of the of the suggestions presented, I do find some amusing, in light of the fact that many state parks and Forest Service campgrounds in the West do not have dump stations, bath houses, or garbage service. However, they do usually have one gender neutral vault toilet for every 5 (or so) campsites. Oh,yeah, one water faucet for every 5 or so campsites, as well. Many of those faucets are designed in such a way that they can only be used to fill buckets; a "water thief" will not work.
When the sign says "pack it in, pack it out!", you MUST take your trash home.
It is always a good idea to read the rules on the bulletin board when checking in!
