- TexasShadowExplorer IItake your fitted sheet.
get on the bed.
fit the two ends that are against the wall
back off the bed
fit the other two ends.
as stated, use a duvet covered comforter, lightweight for top sheet, etc. - Pangaea_RonExplorerGrab the difficult corner in your out-stretched hand and do a belly-flop on the bed. There are style points involved.
It's why we got a walk-around queen in the Class C, and now a walk-around king in the Class A. - coolmom42Explorer IIFor that situation, I would go with just a fitted sheet and a duvet cover. Put a light, medium or heavy comforter in the cover to suit the weather. Pull it up, toss the pillows on top, and done.
- partsman01Explorerwait till your wife wants a zip on cover put on the mattress for protection, Was quite hard doing it in the camper, not much easier in a fifth wheel, I always figured just throw sleeping bags in or throw the covers on the bed, I do not need things all neat and tucked in.

X2- and somehow I never seem to be available when the DW is in the process of needing to make it! Go Figure?
But then again she's not around whenever I need a hand greasing the rig and changing the oil either-- isn't that odd?:)
All that said I do help her pull the foot of the mattress from the headboard then it gets made and shoved back forward-- if she is real sweet to me! - Dadio24ExplorerWhy make it at all...just throw them up close and hit the road. Your maid will never know it.

- Wishbone51ExplorerI have this issue. My bed (rear bedroom) is sideways with the head streetside. I can walk around to the foot of the bed, but not on the right side of the bed (rear of trailer), which only has a foot of clearance, but due to the slope of the rear of the trailer, I can't walk around to that side.
To make matters worse, there's an end table at the right-side head (back streetside corner) that is flush against the bed, so I can't even let the top cover hang over. I have to fold the head of the blanket to clear the end table.
I fold the blanket lengthwise a couple of times, let it hang over on the left side the normal amount, then unfold it over the bed so I don't have to adjust after.
I wish I had the model that is 2 feet longer with the head at the rear and walk-around-able.
