Any mfg'r make a TT with a single twin bed? Looking to solo RV and don't need a big bed.I'm seeing models with two twins but none with one. I suppose I could rip one out but would rather not do that. Also would prefer the bed to run the width of the trailer rather than along one of the long walls to provide more floor space.Thanks.

No, the short queen is small enough for most.

Not going to say no there isn't.Most likely you will find what you seek in extremely small trailers like a TAB.In reality, RVs are designed and built for a wide audience, a single twin bed is not a wide audience.You are going to find multiple twins, one full size and one twin one queen and several twins and so on in larger trailers.As far as a bed running the full length of the wall, might find something like that in a "lite" trailer. Lite trailers are a bit more narrow in width than standard trailers.Typically in RVs the bed length IS short and finding any bed in standard home lengths is almost impossible.Even the so called twin beds are not as wide as your home bed, so a FULL size bed is a bit closer to what you seek.Home twin is about 40" wide, RV twins are on the order of 32-34 wide or about what a home couch depth is.Keep in mind, many trailers the dinette table drops to make a bed, that also is counted as a bed, in your case, ignore the table bed..

Not sure how small you were looking for, there is the little Flagstaff e-pro E16BH which has 30x74 bunks across the rear, and a good sized u shaped dinette in the front.Edit addThe R-pods also have several with a 42" bunk.

I rv solo also, and I've looked around quite a bit for a lone 'twin size' bed. The closest thing I've found is the 17' Escape which has dinettes both front and back. In the bathroom model (17B) the front dinette is 30" wide, which would suit me fine as a full-time bed.I think the T@B was mentioned... one floor plan has a U dinette, which could possibly be used as a bed on the rear section of the U (across the back) while still keeping 2 seats, 1 on either side.Most TTs are built to cater to a wide variety of potential customers (which is good for resale later on, too). Solo travelers are a fairly narrow band of potential buyers.Of course, a cargo trailer could be built out in any configuration one desired (within space constraints, naturally) either by a handy person or by a specialty company. You could have exactly the layout and features you'd like.

Slides or no-slides?Length?The Escape 19 may work. The mfg will let you flip the bed and dinette. Make the front dinette into a small bed and the large rear bed a U-dinette.Also a small Toy Hauler may work, put in a Futon or whatever you want in the floor space.

I traveled almost 100,000 miles solo in an Escape 17. Made the rear dinette into a permanent bed (48" X 77") that fits 3/4 sheets. That left the front 2 person dinette for meals, etc.

Eventually, I wanted to add a built in microwave, 6 cu ft, 2 door refrigerator, oven, and a 4 person dinette, so I now travel in an Escape 21 that has a long, full sized bed (54" X 80").

I solo as well, I used to have a Coachmen Clipper 16B. I would sleep on the bottom bunk and use the top for storage, it worked OK but the bunk was just a little to narrow for me and the two little dogs that have to sleep with me. It was a great little trailer with 30 gallon tanks and around 1000 lbs of cargo carrying capacity. It's a very generic floor plan that is done by many manufacturers. I chose Coachmen for the tank size, cargo capacity, and roof air mainly.

Travel Lite Idea i15 is nice floorplan too with dry bath.

Only 7' wide and double axle. They come with the air conditioner in the roof too.

I can personally vouch for this. I travel solo with 2 dogs, and this trailer is pretty perfect for me. The only thing I've added is solar on the roof and a second battery because I primarily boondock and dry camp.
