Mechanic in Tampa Bay area?

Hello! My fiancee and I just bought a 1995 Winnebago Adventurer, and after taking our first trip, we calculated that we got 4.5 miles per gallon! That was a bit less than expected, and I'll like to have an RV tech look everything over, anyway, since we just got it. Any recommendations on a place to take it to in the Tampa Bay area?

Thanks,
Johnny
  • I agree, you need to run a few trips, pay attention to keeping speed down and then see how bad the mileage is. Mileage is not pretty in these things. it is effectedby hauling all that weight down the road. We rarely haul full water tanks and try and limit what we are carrying on long trips.

IF you need service, your engine/mechanical systems would need to go to a Workhorse/Chevy shop that can accommodate RVs. All coach living systems need to go to an RV shop for repair. Good luck finding quality repairs, is always a challenge it seems. I agree with checking on the rvrepairs website, does give some insight.
