The other places mentioned may be Ok but if you are only going to Graceland I would recommend this CG. I also went down to Beale Street while there and other than the homeless sleeping we had no problems there either.
X-2 DW is usually paranoid about "rough areas", but we were quite comfortable staying behind the Heartbreak Hotel. In fact, we stayed a 3rd day , checked out Beale St and local musicians and the "ducks". Very handy to Graceland. We checked out the surrounding area the 1st day and did not find anything to be concerned about. No gangbangers, no assault carrying red-necks, etc - nothing that concerned us, or we would have left in in hurry!
