In response to the OP. I had a similar post in class A section last year. We just purchased our first MH and that issue was my only concern.
Look at it this way, have you ever seen frontal crash test for motor homes as in a truck? I've never seen one, and I highly doubt most MH's would far well in a high speed collision. The only saving grace is your higher whatever benefit that will give you and most class A pushers have a good size generator to absorb some of the impact.
If it were a collision at a frontal corner angling in, not so good, or a side impact for that matter. But, I could die of a heart attack tomorrow and that doesn't stop me. When it's your time it's your time.
Just enjoy it and give yourself lots off room. If your a tail gater, you might want to reconsider your driving habits in a MH.
