More beginner RVing questions

I can regretfully inform you that most all of the northeast megopolis is now a police state. Usually, they be mollified by using advance notice to both the local establishment and your neighbors. Tell both that you want to do a day and night in the TT before you go anyplace. Most will not object. This is the best way to get to know how things work. If you run into resistance, then circle around until you find someplace that you can camp. Boat yards are pretty good bet. (I happen to know that there are a few on LI.) It does not have to be a "campground".
