OK let me rephrase my questions!
Are we stuck with a popup due to payload? Do any of the 3-bed hybrids have a smaller tongue weight/hitch weight/whatever it's called?
What is the lightest decent WDH?
I'll try to get to the scales today and weigh the expo with me and 4 kids in it. I can then add dh weight and one teen's weight. I bet I'll be right at my payload once I add baggage and a hitch. :(
I'm seeing that I'm up at the limit with payload. WHAT do people with large families do? Seriously. We cannot do a pickup, too many kids. Before I bought the Expy I looked for v10 ford vans but there was only one I could find in my half of the US and it sold before I got to it. Idk payload on that anyway. We briefly owned an Excursion but it was so old that everything interior and electrical was breaking. UGH.
I could sell the Expy and look for a better Excursion I suppose. DH might not agree since the Excursion is such a poor daily driver. IDK. They go at a premium around here.
