Get some magnetic screens for the windows. If you need more storage get a hitch mount box.
You could also get one of those tent things that connect to the back to use as a living room.
Hi SkiMore: I did sleep in the back of the CR-V one night when I couldn't get a motel room. Unfortunately, it's not convertable enough, as the seats tumble toward the front seats but not enough for even 4'11" me to fit in there straight. I'd have to unbolt to take them out. I tried different ways to change the seats. So I still need an outside-the-car bed if I plan to travel and camp.
