New awning
I need a new awning I was thinking about putting on a powered one. Ideas as to if this is a good idea and I like to find the best price for one not nesacerally the cheapest

Our newer RV came with elec awning. After 3 seasons we still don't like it. Wish we still had the manual type, like we had on all of our other RV's. Doesn't tip down far enough, depending on the sun. But does provide shade mostly at 12 noon. Just another elec motor to wear out. Only thing good is all you have to do is mash a button to operate. What about one day when you mash the button and it don't come in? When deployed, look how high they are off the ground. But when I had to order a new part, the OEM manufacture (Care free) provided quick service and was good to deal with.
