New awning
I need a new awning I was thinking about putting on a powered one. Ideas as to if this is a good idea and I like to find the best price for one not nesacerally the cheapest

I think I may do the same this year. We used to have an First Up (same as an Easy Up) a few years ago but lost it in a storm and haven't bothered replacing it.

However, just yesterday I noticed this large Coleman 13' x 13' Eaved Shelter at our local Costco for $169 Cdn. At 45 lbs it's pretty heavy but we camp often enough with friends I think we'd get some good use out of it and there's a limited amount of space under the trailer's 14' awning when there's a crowd of us. Personally I found the netted walls that came with our First Up to be pretty well useless. In cold weather I'd instead hang a couple of tarps around 3 sides of the shelter to protect us from cold, biting wind and allow us to keep the campfire burning nicely so I think that will probably work just as well with this Coleman shelter.
