However, just yesterday I noticed this large Coleman 13' x 13' Eaved Shelter at our local Costco for $169 Cdn. At 45 lbs it's pretty heavy but we camp often enough with friends I think we'd get some good use out of it and there's a limited amount of space under the trailer's 14' awning when there's a crowd of us. Personally I found the netted walls that came with our First Up to be pretty well useless. In cold weather I'd instead hang a couple of tarps around 3 sides of the shelter to protect us from cold, biting wind and allow us to keep the campfire burning nicely so I think that will probably work just as well with this Coleman shelter.

SoundGuy, the one that you posted a link for has a cupola which makes it better to cook under, IMHO. Several years ago I bought a 6 legged one that opens in the same way and has the cupola. It has the screen walls that are great for down here with the bugs. In the cold, I do as you and put tarps on 3 sides. Very stable in the wind with 6 legs, unfortunately they are not made anymore. It figures, something that actually works and is easy to use, discontinued!
