New laws and guns/ammo in California
Heard different news saying as of Jan 1 2018 California has some new laws. I can't find anything on line that has changed if I'm driving through CA and have guns/ammo locked in a seperate locked cont...

CA when I lived was if traveling through on within the state firearms have to be in a separate locked container and ammo not with the firearm. The trunk and glove compartment are not separate locked containers. Long guns have to have a trigger lock or a cable lock.
