Discussion of gun laws tend to greatly devide groups of people, pro and anti.
I do support laws that help to keep guns out of criminals hands, such as background checks for gun purchasers, but not for ammo.
We and our DD and her boyfriend traveled to Las Vegas for a four day hand gun class. Well we bypassed California due to the fact that boyfriend and I both had guns with 15 round magazines. We also laughed about the fact that news stories on shootings often state that the gun owner had maybe 200 rounds of ammo. We were traveling with about 6,000 rounds in the car at that time. The course recommended you have 1,200 rounds each, so with a little extra that is 6,000.
We have member that has in their signature the best statement for gun onership.
“When seconds count, the police are only minutes away.”
