New laws and guns/ammo in California
Heard different news saying as of Jan 1 2018 California has some new laws. I can't find anything on line that has changed if I'm driving through CA and have guns/ammo locked in a seperate locked cont...

My apologies to being a participant in the prior drift. But as you can see these post usually end up like it did ... 90% of the time. Unfortunatly laws are written with too many people trying to decide what's correct and what's not. Unfortunately your at the discretion of the local law enforcement at how they "wish" to determine it. If they decide your in violation, it's up to you to prove them wrong.
Hence the reason I as others mentioned Avoiding places like this if you wish to carry your weapons. It isn't worth losing them, or being fined or jailed and costing you money to just fight it.
