D.E. Bishop said 'all I know is that since when we as a family started camping I have never needed a gun, not only in CA, but Detroit, New Jersey, Kansas, AK or anywhere else'. It only takes one time and Im not going to let that one time happen. I used to do radio communications for the B2V (Baker to Vegas Challange Cup Relay). We would go up Friday and camp at our assigned post. The race was Saturday and we would say over night Saturday and leave Sunday. Well Saturday night er Sunday morning around 3AM someone drive right up to the door on my camper. Two people got out started walking around so I reached for my 357 sat up in bed and pointed it at the door. Lucky for them they got in their vehicle and left, but had they pryed open the door and intered my camper I would have pulled the trigger. I dont know who they were or what they were looking for as I didnt turn on any lights and I did not make any noise other than pull the hammer back, so as carefully as you can be **** can still happen.
As far as being pulled over for a bogus reason, happen to me once. Pulled me over and said my vehicle licence was out of date which it was not and gave me a ticket for tinted windows. They had no probable cause so they make on up and thats not just in CA it happen everywhere
