We're in the middle of a 70 day summer trip with our 3 kids. We wished we had an on-board washer/dryer!!!
Sure you can use the machines at the rv park or in town. But it's a total waste of time. You have to be diligent about getting your wash out or some jerk will pull them out and throw em on the top of a machine. We end up with missing socks.
Many of the laundromats are less than clean or have questionable people milling about. Still others are just plain expensive. We've paid as much as $5 a load!
I argued this point with my wife before we ended up with our current fiver. I wanted the Grand Design Momentum with the space in the garage for a washer and dryer. She kept insisting that it'd be no big deal to do laundry at an outside laundromat. Now she ******* and moans about how much of a PITA it is. I just turn a deaf ear to that and remind her this was her idea.
