A couple of things to remember regardless of how fast you drive when not towing:
Speed limits are usually 10mph less in CA when towing. Take your chances with a ticket if you want to.
Check the max speed limits on the trailer tires. A lot of them aren't rated for over 65mph. If you're towing during the day time in the heat, that hot pavement combined with speed will cause tire problems.
If you're in a hurry, then be sure to have two spares with you, a good jack and wrench so you don't have to sit there for hours waiting for a tire service.
Get the brakes and bearings serviced whether you do it or someone else does them. If you have to leave the trailer on the side of the road while you go get a new spindle, bearings, seals, grease, etc, and then have to change them, it will definitely ruin your time line.
Carry an air pump and an electrical extension cord that will allow it to reach the trailer tires so you don't have to un-hook if you need air.
