Several years ago, I had a club cab Chevrolet S-10 with the big v6 and auto trans. I was pulling a 36 ft triple slide 5th ave around 12,000 lbs. We normally ran from Fla to Calif 4 times a year.
Man that little truck would go 95 mph . It is now being used to pull loaded frt cars in the LA terminal of the railroad.
